What happens in Figure Drawing? Our regular Figure Drawing sessions are uninstructed evenings with a professional nude model. Weekly sessions include poses of various time limits. Our experienced models are of all body types. Artists are required to be respectful and to bring their own supplies. Tools and mediums may include pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastel, ink, and more. Painters are welcome at our Long Pose sessions where the model will do quick warm-ups and then for the rest of the evening, they will do one pose with breaks. A limited number of easels are available and most artists are seated at a table. Drawing sessions are fun, laid-back and relaxing with music and drinks. BYOB is allowed and wine is often available. Cellphone use is not allowed and any recording or filming is strictly prohibited. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Up to 14 artists are allowed. Artists are asked to respect each other and the model. Tipping the model is allowed. We ask that artists remain stationed for the duration of each pose and not to disturb others. Latecomers are not guaranteed a seat and may be limited in entry to the space. Latecomers might not be eligible for a refund.
